i’m not sure if this is the right place to ask but, i’ve been best friends with her since we were younger, but we drifted due to high school. however, we did catch up and chatted with eachother since i follow her public instagram (she follows me back). in her bio she has another account that’s private and has about 30 followers compared to the 200 followers on her public account. would it be weird if i requested to follow her private account???

I’m a bit shy but if I were in your situation I would make a private instagram myself and then I few months later offer it to her. If she doesn’t offer hers, it’s probably only for family or something.
Ahhh probably would get to know them first! Then request them! Easier that way so she doesn’t leave you hanging with your request
