Last night I (M22) had a guys night with my friends, we were drinking and I definitely got carried away so the night was a blur. I was having a good time, dancing with strangers (not sexually) but at one point my friend said I looked lost in the moment and a girl started grinding on me. He said it was about 3 seconds long but he pulled me away which I’m glad he did. I honestly don’t even remember this happening, I’m just going off of his word.
I’ve been dating someone (F24) for about 4 months now and really love where the relationship is and where it’s going, I do believe it’s something special. I want to be open and honest with her and tell this happened, my friends say I shouldn’t bother because I didn’t do anything wrong and it could give her the wrong impression, she knows we were going out drinking and dancing and doesn’t have any problems with it. Is this something I should tell her that happened? Thank you

The relationship is too young and emotions are strong, I wouldn’t mention it. You didn’t do anything wrong, don’t feel guilty. Just learn from this and carry yourself better in the future. Your actions are a reflection of how much you care for her. In long term these things become more funny than serious. If I told my fiancé some girl got on me while I was drunk she would laugh it off. Wouldn’t be the same story if I told her the same thing 5 years ago.
It sounds like something the girl did without your interest or consent, so it doesn’t seem to read like you did anything wrong or in any way wanted that to happen.
For the sake of honesty, I would advise explaining this to your girlfriend. Would you want to know if, in a moment of drunken fun, she lost sight of what she was doing and had danced on a stranger instead of a friend? Or something similar/comparable, really.
Although I’d worry about your drinking being at a level where such things happen to you in public without your knowledge. That sounds like a dangerous scenario. Take care of yourself.
