One of my close guy friends who I also have a crush on – got out of long term relationships a year ago. We’ve gotten very close and a bit flirty/talk all the time. I had a date yesterday and he made a bet that I would stay for 2 drinks and not one. He texted me after midnight (drunk) and asked me if the date was ok and if I stayed for more than one drink? What does he mean by taking on purpose?
“Did you do 2 drinks?” – him
“Only one. You lose!” – me
“So that is an L. You win.” – him
“I’m good on drinks for a bit. You didn’t really have a shot here, I told you it would be 1 drink.” – me
“Yeah, I was playing the losing game. Might have been on purpose.” – Him
