so i guess i genuinely have a problem with making friends, i have one super close best friend that i’ve known forever and a few other friends from elementary school that i don’t talk to often, but other than that i have nobody (my bff is outgoing and way more social than me, idk how she does it). i never tried making new friends but recently i’ve wanted to become friends with this boy from my school. he’s pretty new, he came to my school like a couple weeks ago or something. he seems cool and my best friend has interacted with him a few times and i’d really want to try and get to know him. but the only things stopping me are my terrible social skills and awkwardness. and i’m not too comfortable with my appearance so i feel like that brings my confidence down too. i’ve thought about complimenting him because he dresses nice so i was hoping that would get me a good start. any advice?
