Mostly wasting time doom scrolling tbh
Yeah, mostly. If you have a hobby there’s likely a sub for it to ask questions/share personal progress. Some are like this one where you get advice (that you should never take at face value) It’s all about the vibe of the communities you want to be part of. r/all has a nice large showcase of popular communities, all with their own rules and goals. Join a few you fancy, and from there their will likely be a few related communities in the “about” section of the subreddit homepage to help widen your horizons.
So just explore the site a bit, lurk a bit, just remember to still go touch grass every now and then. Any further questions can likely be found or asked in r/NewToReddit if that helps. And welcome!
