I’ve been initiating most of our conversations, he doesn’t say he loves me first anymore, we talked about engagement for over a year, boyfriend still haven’t gotten a ring or proposed, each time i ask, he just brushes it off, he tells me there’s other things in life for him right now, there is always something else in life that is placed above our relationship in priority. And he’s doesn’t care about our dating anniversary anymore, he buys other people birthday presents for their birthday but isn’t doing anything special for our dating anniversary. Im the only one initiating present buying. When I tell him I need more attention, he tells me he will make it up to me and talk to me later (idk if its just me but that sounds a bit belittling) Being with him now is triggering my anxiety, i don’t know what to do anymore

it sounds like you’re not getting much of what you want out of this relationship. why are you staying?
Seems like it’s becoming a one-sided relationship, you shouldn’t be begging to be treated like a girlfriend, just leave him and find someone who’s willing to put in efforts for you.
