  1. That she masturbated to my pictures. Best compliment I ever received because it was the first undeniably sexual one.

  2. “You have nice eyebrows”.

The strangest compliment I’ve received. Gave me an ego boost. Natural eyebrow line on fleek.

  3. “Well now that’s a handsome young man”

Old lady in the the supermarket talking to her friend as I walked by.

Thanks granny, made my day 😭

  4. I only like physical compliments. I hate the character ones, especially anything referring to kindness, generosity, warmth, or any of the other “you are good to other people” compliments.

The one that will always stick with me is when one of my DnD players said, unprompted, that my shirt made my arms look great. I will never forget it.

  5. “You’re the type of guy I see in my fantasies” some woman at a pub on a night out with my friends.

“If you saw yourself how everyone else sees you. You wouldn’t have these issues” – 3 years ago by my best friend when I was dealing with bad depression based on bad self worth and image issues

“You made me realise there are men out there I can trust” – Woman friend of mine after she opened up to me about her SA trauma and tried helping her anyway I can (She also bought me a gift as a thank you which surprised me)

“I love you” – By one of my male friends when he opened up to me about his child abuse trauma and I tried helping him anyway I can.

“So good to see you back. You always brighten up my day” – A woman I serve at my job regularly when I got back after a 2 week holiday

“He is soooo handsome” – One of my mother’s friend who even now when she sees me. She has to remind me how handsome she thinks I am (In a nice wholesome way). Even if she is in her mid 60s

My 8 year old niece making a little clay art heart shaped thing all painted and said “Love you uncle Jakey” on it

There is more but they are the ones which come to my mind. I think about it a lot because it helps me when I feel down on myself.

  6. ‘Get in the bush…let’s not turn this rape into another murder’

  7. My crush when I was 13 asked “how are you so good at everything?”.

My crush when I was 15 said “I like your jacket.”.

In a particular lonely time in my life I made a friend online and we were friends for 3-4 months until she stopped talking (to me and everyone else), she did disappear for a couple days at a time. So I just messaged her, often not wanting a reply, could be memes or updates about me. When she returned, 1 or 1.5 months later, she explained everything and said thank you for still talking to her even though she wasn’t replying. But what really got me was when she said “I love you” at the end of the conversation.

  8. *”I’m a self empowerment and motivational speaker so I’m really curious to know 🤗”*

    Yeah, sure.

  9. Thank you, I really appreciate everything you do.

As a proud father and partner, to hear this from my lady brought a tear to my eye
