Your stay committed to your relationship. If you are happy and love your partner then I would suggest that. And I would just take his comment as a compliment.
How you’re suppose to react? “Sorry you missed your chance and I’m happy now” and don’t talk to this “old friend”
Pretty much disrespecting your “committed relationship” at that point… the fact you’re even questioning this to begin with you probably shouldn’t be with your current at all anyways.. he doesn’t deserve that.
I understand confusing feelings you’re human but it’s either you respect who you’re with or be out
And just saying, if he is bringing this up all the while knowing you’re in a committed relationship that shows bad character about himself and probably became jealous. That’s one hell of a “friend” And another just saying, if you hypothetically left your current and went to him I can guarantee you’d get screwed over in the long run by him by obvious reasons
