  1. Follow your surgeons recommendations to the letter. Do exactly what they say. Your recovery will go better and your outcome will be better.

  2. You want to specifically talk to your orthopedic surgeon (the person who put the rods in your bones).

    Sex is likely okay, but there are absolutely some positions you want to avoid. I don’t work in orthopedics, but know there are specific types of rotations that increase the risk of causing issues post operatively. Basically there are positions you want to absolutely not do.

    Can’t give anything more specific, but hopefully it helps to know, some sexy time stuff is off the table, but other sexy time stuff should likely be okay, but as everyone else has said, talk to your doctor (again your surgeon specifically) for advice
