kids at work hugging+no boundaries?

I work with younger kids all ages, and even with kids im pretty socially awkward LOL. One of the kids (who is around 9-10 and is like that with all the teachers) was hugging me and grabbing at my hands and stuff and it was super awkward (im just not a hugger LOL) and i didnt wanna be rude. 😂after like 20 torturous minutes i quietly and passively mentioned something about a personal bubble and they took the hint😅😅im so bad at social skills, how could i have gone about that immediately 😅
