I roasted some chicken drumsticks in the oven for a couple of hours until they got really crispy, and I decided I like them better that way than just cooking them for the recommended amount of time.

  1. If you make a pizza right, the bottom of it has some burnt spots. That’s a feature of good pizza.

  2. The onions and mushrooms served with a rare steak, and smoked fish fillets like mackerel are best crispy.

  3. Instant Ramen. I’ll bring it to boil, then turn off the heat, and let it sit 10 mins. Extra plump noodles make me happy.

    Same with macaroni and cheese, but I don’t add the cheese mix until after plumping, vs ramen flavor goes in the boil water.

  4. I prefer fall-off-the-bone ribs, but smoking pros will tell you that means they’ve been cooking too long.

  5. Chinese instant noodles.
    They have to be more that just done.
    I like them extremely soft
