1. Awkwardness is less about what you say, and more about HOW you say it. You also have to ask yourself what your goal is for the conversation. In other words, why are you talking to this person?

2. Most strangers are hesistant and shy too, and don’t necessarily trust you. You need an angle, most strangers don’t want to be bothered for no reason.

   Something simple is to give a compliment when you think something nice about a stranger! Without expecting anything in return. It could make a whole person’s day that someone put out their leg to say a simple “You have such a pretty dress on!”
