Frequent travelers of America, what is one vacation destination that you’re never tired of visiting?

1. Lincoln National Forest in NM. Go every chance I get.

2. Oahu. We’re lucky to have family there.

3. I get up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan 3-4x per year, I’m way overdue for a visit.

4. I have yet to go to the Pacific Northwest.

5. Lake Tahoe. Been there countless times and during all seasons, and it is always spectacular and a fun time.

   Outside the US, I would say Italy, especially Lake Como, Südtirol, Tuscany, and the Ligurian coast.

6. Japan. My mom mad because I wanted to use my free capital one trip to go back for my birthday in October 😂 idc I’ll go every year.

   And then Italy

7. Chicago. Great for a long weekend though I’ve done weeklong stays too. So many neighborhoods and things to do I’ve never repeated the same events twice.

8. The trails of Olympic National Park in Washington, the Sky Island mountain ranges in Southeastern Arizona, and the entire states of California and New Mexico

9. I’ve stayed or camped in the Grand Canyon over 10 times in my life. Sure, on Saturday and Sunday Mather Point looks like a crowd ready to fill one of those 60,000 seat college football stadiums, but if you know the park you can quickly get away from them. Other than Mammoth Caves I’ve never seen a place so pitch black as a visit to Mather Point after 11pm. Even after 10 minutes you still couldn’t see your hand in front of your eyes before slowly adapting to see a little. We were the only people there that night, it was very eerie with no sounds and complete darkness. There’s a feeling of solitude and peace knowing that we shall pass on but the canyon endures. It’s the only place I’ve been that can’t be really described; it has to be experienced in person

10. Yosemite National Park. I’m not sure how many times I’ve been in the past decade, but definitely well more than 20. Usually camping, sometimes hotel or backpacking, and occasionally an Airbnb outside the park.

11. In the US? Washington DC so many museums. In the world? Paris, France. So much art.

14. If you mean within the US – anywhere around Lake Superior. Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP are so beautiful.

    Outside the US – Ireland. If I have to get more specific, the western coast of Ireland sort of between Galway and Dingle.

16. It was northern Michigan around the Traverse City area, but I live here now so I don’t need to vacation here anymore. I suspect it’ll turn into being the Upper Peninsula.

17. Los Angeles. Guaranteed good time 24/7. Love it

18. My favorite vacation spot is Walt Disney World. It takes me back to the childhood I wish I’d had, full of magic and fun and excitement. Plus there is always something new and the non stop nature of it means I can escape from the real world for a bit.

19. California. My wife and I used to make fun of Midwesterners who go to the same vacation destination every year, but we’ve now become what we swore to never do. California is just such a cool place.

    The weather is always great (minus the occasional hurricane). The food is fantastic. Beaches, mountains, rainforests, big city, rural stuff, fresh caught seafood everywhere, excellent culture and people, wild iguanas, chickens, and cats peacefully coexisting… really it’s amazing.

    As a matter of fact, I’m there right now.

23. I can’t believe no one has said Maine. There is nowhere in the world I’ve been that draws me back like coastal Maine.

28. This is going to sound lame but Carolina Beach NC. It’s a little redneck and trashy but in a good way. It’s not as expensive to rent a house for the week and there’s still true beach dive bars. There’s stuff for all ages. It’s 3 hours from my house

32. Nashville never gets old to me. I go there all the time for work and for vacation and I love it! If for no other reason than the sheer volume of accessible live music! I always have a real hoot of a time when I roll through.

34. Colorado. I love the Rockies.

35. Maui, Hawaii. Wow is it paradise. I would go every year until i died if I could afford it.

36. New York City because there is always something to do.

38. Ski trips up to Vermont, hiking trips to the Adirondacks and the ranges in New England, day trips down the shore.
