I really enjoy being choked until I start blacking out, but it just occurred to me that it may be unsafe. Is it okay to be choked until my vision starts going black?

  1. Please do not do that! I know it might feel very good, but breath play is incredibly dangerous. If your vision is starting to go, you are already in the ‘risk of brain damage’ region of hypoxia.

If you *absolutely have to be chocked to cum,* then there are some things you can do to be safer. First, make sure to always have a partner on hand, preferably more than one so that if the person choking you gets too into it you have another spotter to tell them to stop. Second, make sure your partners know CPR so that if you pass out, they can revive you. Third, there are safer *ways* to be choked, if you are using hands for instance, there is a risk of crushing your trachea which can kill you! There are collars designed to distribute the pressure you can find on some kink websites. Fourth, hold a heavy object that will make noise when dropped in your hand. If you pass out, your hand will hopefully relax causing you to drop the object, notifying your partner that you have passed out.

But, to reiterate, I know choking might be fun, but it is very very very dangerous. It is super easy to accidentally kill yourself or your partner by doing this. Please try to find something safer, like electrostimulation or something.

  2. In theory, that point you’re describing would be the point where it’s dangerous. The problem is in practice, it’s very easy to go from that point to dead and it’s happened to a fair number of people. Please be safe and don’t do this.

  3. Safe? No.

The level of risk Is difficult to calculate, and depends on other risk factors.

If you are young and otherwise healthy, the risk isn’t huge, but the risk is there and its not impossiblefor it to even be fatal. The moment you start to feel woozy is the moment your brain is being deprived as blood. If the timing is misjudged, you could theoretically cause damage to the brain. It’s important to stop at that moment to allow blood flow back.

There is also the small risk of heart arrhythmia due to the compression of the carotid sinuses. These could be very dangerous.

So no, it’s not safe. You need to read about it and decide what level of risk you are comfortable with, and discuss that VERY carefully with your partner.

It’s probably a bad idea in general.

Yours sincerely, someone who still likes getting choked hard 🤣
