This is my throwaway account. I [27F] for as long as I can remember, am not sure I have had an orgasm through PIV. I could be wrong though? I recently started using a toy and have been able to climax from external stimulation and I’ve never felt anything like that during sex.
I was talking to my current partner though and he mentioned that during sex I’ll randomly get extremely wet and I won’t start to feel any penetration and that seems like when I would/nearly hit my peak (from what he’s experienced with his past partners)… I know internal and external stimulating orgasms probably feel different, but are the random wetness and numbness indicators of PIV orgasms?

  1. No, they aren’t. While women report differences between orgasms according to how they were produced (say, clitoral vs vaginal), all orgasms are explosions. Orgasms proceed in essentially the same way, in both genders. The sensation builds up to a moment of inevitability — the climax becomes unstoppable, and the person feels that. Then, the climax happens, and climax consists of more than a half dozen contractions inside the crotch, plus the whole body tensing up. The closest thing to compare orgasm to is sneezing. It’s common knowledge that most women don’t climax from PIV.

The main signs of sexual arousal in women are wetness and widening of the vagina. Extreme wetness means you are super aroused. “won’t start to feel penetration”. Do you mean “stop feeling penetration”? Because some women get too loose. Getting wet and wide, the vagina gets too slack. This is hard to work with unless the dick is very thick. But focus on the G-spot, which is close to the entrance. The man can try changing his angle slightly to dig into the G-spot more, as opposed to sliding against it.

You can achieve climax if the partner goes down on you. To increase the chances of orgasm, and improve it, they should simultaneously give you oral and massage your G-spot with their fingers.
