(25m) There was a girl (24F) that worked temporarily at our location (retail) for about a month. We started off well but after a few days our conversations stayed short and friendly. I believe she was briefly attracted to me at the start (longer eye contact, sitting closer) but I didn’t want to state my interest in her that soon.
After a week or so, I wanted to try take our conversations to the next level but she was always keeping herself with one/two coworkers. The longer she was at our location, the creepier I felt about making a move or even a compliment. She wasn’t making it easier for me, which I assume is a sign that she was no longer interested.
Maybe she lost interest because she could read my body language and that I did not act on my intention. I feel like I took too long and should have told her at the start that I found her cute.
