Vent a little bit. Accept that a lot of our lives can’t be controlled and that isn’t worth stressing over. If you’re the type to meditate, it helps with focus to quiet the mind. Take a shower and relax.. always helps me
“Imagine this: If you had $86,400 in an account and someone stole $10 from you, would you be upset and throw all of the remaining $86,390 away in hopes of getting back at the person who took your $10? Or move on and live? Right, move on and live. See, we have 86,400 seconds each day. Don’t let someone’s negative 10 seconds ruin the remaining 86,390. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Life is bigger than that.”
You have to accept it, you have to accept, that you are only a human being and mistakes are nothing bad. Learn from them and do it better next time. It’s a long road and you have to take one step after the other. Achieving Peace of mind is one life goal everyone should chase, but it’s also one of the hardest goals you can have.
Going for a walk/hike helps settle my brain down.
Tell yourself no one is thinking about this more then you, they don’t give a shit and neither should you
Masturbate
Here’s how.
Every single day has 24 hrs
Tomorrow is the fresh start.
So forgive yourself for a bad one
And move on to the next.
Piss in the stairwell.
Tell yourself you’re going to turn the day around
Do something else that’s physically and mentally engaging. For me, I like to go rock climbing.
Talk about it, if you can then do it out loud.
yesterday was a less than stellar and i came home, threw my bag and clothes on the couch and just had a 40 something minute long rant laying on my bed.
Helped clear out my mind and let me continue on with the rest of my evening.
By only experiencing bad days over and over and over. You get use to them.
Replace it with an even worse day!
Overthinking about overthinking makes you stop overthinking about the bad day
