Men with mustaches, when you first started growing it, at what point did you stop doubting it if looked good or not?

1. I tried to grow a full beard and couldn’t move past “patchy with areas of little peach hairs” so pretty early on. At some point you just have to learn to make do with what the gene pool had in mind for you. Once you figure that out, you can achieve a nice result.

2. When it’s long enough to throw wax in it and curl the sides up so you look like an old timey boxer you’ll wonder why you weren’t born with this shit.

4. That point for me was when my mustache went from “hasn’t shaved in a few weeks” to “looks full”. A big part of that is contrast with areas you’re not incorporating: I can’t grow a full beard so my chin and jaw are clean-shaven, making my mustache stand out more.

5. Whenever I have tried a moustache or grown my beard extra long it divides people. Sometime strangers would stop and tell me they loved it…sometimes people would stop to tell me it was seedy and I should shave immediately.

   You do you man. The longer you have it, the more people are used to seeing you like that.

6. There’s only one person who needs to think it looks good: *You*

   Grow it long, keep it short, wax, plait or dye it.

   This is *your* moustache. Grow it and wear it how you feel

7. After I turned 30 I figured I was old enough for a stache. It takes a while for it to grow on you (pun intended), but once it does you get attached.

   If you’re having a hard time getting used to it, I’d suggest leaving a stubble along with the stache, that’s how I like it.

8. Moustaches can be hard to pull off. There’s an old saying that you grow a beard but earn a moustache.

9. Never, but my better half says otherwise and that is all that matters to me.
