When grew older from 20 to 30, did you become more good looking or less good looking?

  1. I definitely think I got better looking from 20-30, and even more so from 30-40. I think it takes time to grow into yourself and find a style that works.

  2. Better looking. Beard finally decided to grow in earnest and I finally had the money to invest in my health, fitness, and fashion. I eat better, I am more active, I’m in much better shape, and I dress better.

  3. More, but those years also correspond with me taking my health/fitness more seriously, losing weight, and caring more about dressing nicely.

  4. Better looking. I look much younger than I am, at twenty I looked like sixteen, at thirty more like twenty (at least).

  5. More good looking, I guess. I knew my wife from years back. We grew up in the same home town. We randomly ran into each other 12 years later. She said she didn’t recognize me because I had grown taller and “was more rugged in looks.” I’ll take that.

And quite honestly, and this isn’t thought to be the popular opinion, but I think there are a lot of women that look way better in their 30’s and 40’s vs. their 20’s. Like Jennifer Aniston as an example. But I look at photos of my wife going back to our early days when she was in her early 20’s……I mean she was a stunner and a knockout……but I prefer the MILF version a lot more. lol!

  6. I wouldn’t say more or less, but just different. Less youthful and insecure. More wrinkles, some gray hair, but more confidence and experience.

  7. “Oh Lord, it’s hard to be humble
When you’re perfect in every way
I can’t wait to look in the mirror
‘Cause I get better lookin’ each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord, it’s hard to be humble
But I’m doin’ the best that I can!…

Some folks say that I’m “egotistical”
Hell, I don’t even know what that means!
I guess it has something to do with the way

That I fill out my skin-tight blue jeans”

  8. Almost 30 and I’m the best looking I’ve ever been. Though I started eating healthy, taking care of my skin and hair, and started working out. That helped a lot

  9. I agree with others, takes you more time to grow into your style as you get older. This also comes with more confidence

  10. More good looking. Between 20 and 30 you gain confidence and knowledge and that’s just better looking to anybody.

  11. Im still growing into my looks. I was always kind of an awkward kid but at 38 I have good hair and glasses that suit me well and a beard…. I’m more confident now than I ever was in my 20’s or early 30’s. I would, however, like to have my metabolism back

  12. Started out my 20’s with six pack abs and a full head of hair. Started out my 30’s with thinning hair and a pony keg. Luckily I got married in my early 20’s, before the downfall.

  13. Much better looking. Most of that was being more comfortable in my own skin. Carrying myself better. More confidence in who I am. That change translates nicely to attractiveness.

  14. Better looking. As I get older I started grooming better and dressing better and have some confidence on top of it. Plus my beard started filling in a bit nicer in my mid 20s.

  15. I’d say better looking.

As a young kid my face was just a bit odd looking.

As I got to highschool my face finally started looking somewhat decent, and overall it was an improvement.

Going into and graduating college I gained a bit more muscle so my body has improved.

  16. Men age different one from another. Some were geeky as kids and grow up to be very attractive. Some don’t age well, they fat, go bald, get wrinkles starting at age 30. We had one buddy who at 40 we called “grandpa”. On the other hand there is Sam Elliott who at an advanced age is a super sexy man. The old days of the worship of youth has been passing on. Lots of daddies are very sexy. Beside young people have a lot of youthful angst, by 30 or 40 that is gone and we are comfortable in our skin. At 40 something some get a mid-life crisis. Youth has passed and at the half way point we ask what about the 2nd half. Am I happy as is or do I want to change direction. Greying hair is sexy.

  17. I’ve looked more or less the same, just older. More grey hair, more wrinkles than I had as a teen.

I did gain weight, though. Was insanely underweight as a kid and younger adult. Now I’m probably about average weight.
