I’m on the depo shot and before that pill birth control.
I’ve been on depo for 3 weeks now and I let my bf creampie me a few times since hitting 8 days of being on depo.
I was supposed to start my period the 2nd week of depo but nothing ever came and I think it had to do with being on a lot of hormones at once (( I was still taking my pill for two weeks while on depo, as directed by my OBGYN))
My question is, will I be okay and avoid a pregnancy here or should I still take a plan B just in case?
I’ve never been on depo, I know it’s relatively effective, but I’m still a little concerned

Can you call your doctors office and ask if missing a period is likely, especially since you were on both birth control methods for a time?
Please do not take even more shit- periods being messed with is one of the main side effects of depo and is not an indicator that you’re pregnant.
I didn’t get periods on depo.
I’d do a test just to be sure, though.

That’s not needed. As it does the same thing that depo is doing already. And also your bf has been cumming inside you for a few times from your description, and it doesn’t work if 72 hrs has passed since last sex.

You should use a backup method like condoms during the first week on depo, as you were on pills previously and continued them overlapping the depo for two weeks that takes out that need for back up and you would be protected from pregnancy. Just wait for a few days as depo could delay your periods.
