1. that person doesn’t know wtf they’re asking either, they’re just saying hi. Tell them you’ve been doing the same old same old, the daily grind, just living the dream etc. Then follow it up with a “how about you?” before they can nitpick for details. If at any point the conversation gets embarrassing, just hold your tummy and go “oh no.” Then say “excuse me” and leave the room.

2. With social media people often assume they know everything about everyone.

   Just answer it like they asked “what’s changed for you?”
