I’m a big language learner and use a language exchange app to practice and sometimes make genuine connections and even meet people.
There was a girl I was talking to everyday (rare on this app all things considered). She was super nice saying she’d show me around when we met and all that and after a while I decided to take the “next step” and asked her if we wanted to exchange instagrams. We did and after that complete ghost.
I don’t really post on IG save a profile pic, but have a follower count just shy of 200. She’s got a follower count nearly quadruple mine.
Is this important in the dating game now? I can’t think of any other reasons (i looked the same, if not better on IG) and had no content in my profile hence I can’t think of any red flags.

As someone who doesn’t have an IG Account, I’m thinking it’s not that important
I wouldn’t be looking at instagram clout as a reason you’re not deemed attractive.
You wouldn’t want anyone so shallow that cares about that anyway.
You gotta be able to let it roll off the shoulders a little more.

As someone without IG who is dating someone without IG, I don’t think so.
No, unless you’re trying to date an influencer or something.
