Introducing someone to your friends: how do you do it in a non-awkward way if there are no group activities that you typically do with your friends?

New to dating…

I swear I have friends haha, but I find it difficult to introduce somebody I’m dating to my friends because I just don’t have a lot of events that they can come to. Of course, there are birthdays and weddings and grad parties, but that stuff is not super frequent in my life.

I usually hang out 1 on 1 with my friends – get drinks, lunch, or go shopping, watch a movie – stuff like that.

It’s hard to really add a dude I’m dating to the mix without it being awkward.

I’m friends with my roommates, and I guess I could organize a dinner or something for him to be introduced to them. Seems a bit contrived though.
