Women who can feel insecure going to the gym: How could the staff/instructors/design alleviate this feeling?

  1. The building shouldn’t be one big open space. There should be corners and less visible areas so that if someone wants to work out and not be seen by everyone walking in the door, that’s possible.

Honestly though as someone who goes to the gym regularly I’m just sharing this as just good advice in general, not just for shy or insecure people.

  2. Maybe don’t have mirrors on every available surface so you have to see yourself regardless of where you go. Have a good ventilation so you don’t need to wear a freaking tank top if you don’t feel good in one.
