So this girl i like for 2 years now texted me that i look like her favourite actor from some TV show. I asked her what’s that supposed to mean and she said it’s a compliment. Before this she said i look like the cute baby tiger from one TikTok i sent her.
To kinda inform you about the situation, we never really talked much. The most i have ever talked with her was like 2 days ago when we were texting for about 3 hrs straight. She never writes first though. Seems like she only responds because she has to or smth. But she also responds pretty fast, almost always instantly.
Idk what to think of it and I don’t wanna ask her. I also don’t wanna have false hopes. If she has a boyfriend my attraction goes away instantly, but if she doesn’t and she says these things, idk what to do.

Keep the text convo going a little while . If it seems she still responding quickly and it seems like she’s interested then ask her if she want to meet up with you in person. That how you will know if she just want a pen pal vs something more.
Start flirting. Tease her and play with her and if she plays along, set up a date. Given your situation, make it clear that it’s a date. If the subject of “just friends” comes up, “I’m really not looking for more friends” and move on. You’ve spent a long time building her up so be careful. Reality could crash down upon you and you might figure out she’s not all that.
