We’ve been Together for 3 years and in the past year we haven’t had sex as much as before and it feels like he only really wants to when he’s drunk ( which is like every week ) he doesn’t think anything of it. It’s making me feel unwanted honestly. He’s said before that he doesn’t want sex like everyday and if we did that it wouldn’t be as “ special “ and I’ve asked him before and he says he gets horny around me all the time he just doesn’t feel the need to have sex everyday. Can any men tell me if wanting sex or jerking off everyday is a thing for all guys ? Because from what I’m used to guys want sex all the time and my last relationship when I was 16 and he was 17 he wanted to have sex like multiple times a day and I think that’s why I struggle with it making me feel unwanted, cause my boyfriend says he doesn’t just want me for sex, but I guess it’s kind of something that makes me feel wanted by him. Also thinking of him saying he doesn’t want sex then maybe jerking of while I’m not there really bothers me and I think about that a lot.

TLDR: my boyfriend doesn’t want sex as much anymore and it’s making me feel unwanted

  1. teenagers up to like mid twenties have a VERY high sex drive and then it kind of dips a bit. It’s not super weird for a guy to jerk off but not want to do a daily full body workout just to cum lol

    maybe try lower intensity stuff?

  2. Why do people think that a relationship is going to always be like it was in the beginning? I seriously think that has destroyed so many potentially solid relationships! When you first meet someone, it’s so intense and powerful, but holy shit it’s just not sustainable. It doesn’t mean you stop loving the other person, but that’s just not realistic. Things change and the relationship changes because if you’re growing as people that happens. The challenge and the excitement is that you change and adapt and if you’re lucky, the love becomes deeper and richer and there is no substitute for that. I wish you the best.
