What do you guys do for fun?

  1. Play board games, go to local events, travel, hang out with friends, video games, read – the usual things.

  2. See what weird guns Kittery has on the shelf, suplex my toddler nephew onto a bunch of pillows on the couch, cook. You know, normal shit.

  3. Meet friends at restaurants, host dinners and parties at our houses, go to concerts, travel, read, practice yoga.

  4. Play video games, play disc golf with my wife and friends, audition for community theater shows, and read. Those are the big ones for me.

I also shitpost (mostly about the Detroit Red Wings) on this abomination of a website.

  5. Mountain bike, cruise in my car, offroading, car shows, drag strip, hangout with friends, go to the gym, shooting

  6. Hang out with my kids, golf, hunt, fish, enjoy a weekend at the lake. You know, typical dad shit. Today is yardwork day, one of my favorites.

  7. Shoot guns, eat fried food, drive around aimlessly, start fights, broadcast my life on Tiktok, attend Trump rallies…all the normal American stuff.

  8. Do a lot of stuff with friends: restaurants, bars, concerts, Broadway, sporting events. We go to each other’s apartments for get togethers like games or occasional theme patties sometimes (90s, lobster boil, Biden inauguration black tie rave, caviar champagne & cocaine, bloody Mary day party, Christmas ice cream social are a few since COVID). There’s an app that lets you book cabanas at hotel pools, so we did that a few times last summer. Have a pretty big mixed group of friends that go to Pride events every year, which is relevant now.

I’m very into college football and basketball and my team in particular so I go to campus once or twice a year for a football and basketball game. The US Open is a lot of fun for a day or night session. And it’s fun to just go to bars to watch a big game.

I love gambling so I go to Las Vegas a few times a year. I really like planning trips so I’m feeling bored I’ll just book something.

I try to do something fun once a week, but there are definitely weekends where you just want to be home and lay on the couch and watch tv and eat fried chicken.

  9. Hiking, riding my motorcycle, I take my niece to Disneyland every couple months. Not that Disney is fun for me, but she has fun so.. I like cooking new things and eating at new restaurants too.

  10. Ski, mountain bike, hike, camp, stand up paddle board, travel, etc. Mountains > beaches

  11. I love cooking for friends and my Fiancée, going out to eat, playing video games, going for walks.

  12. Binge watch tv shows I’ve already seen(currently on the last season of breaking bad for the 4th time) and play video games. I’m single with no kids and enjoy living a simple boring life…

I occasionally hang out with friends but I’m very introverted and enjoy alone time.

  13. During the week it’s just gym and work usually, on the weekend I chill with friends, maybe go to a festivals or party or two.

I’m more of a routine person than a fun person.

  14. I like to cook and bake. I’m into fitness. I cycle and distance run and have taken an interest in powerlifting. My husband and I (as well as our three boys) have a board game night every week where we invite friends over. We’re big Angels and Ducks fans who watch sports regularly too, as well as participating in church events and gatherings often. We stay busy!

  15. Gym (though more task than fun these days), shoot guns, golf, gym, gym, cook, read, write, gym, jiu jitsu, drink booze outdoors with friends

  16. Watch movies, play games, cook, make crafts, go to museums, listen to music

  17. Today I’m gonna have a BBQ with friends and family because I passed my dissertation defense. I don’t have other social media to gloat, but I’d thought I’d randomly tell a bunch strangers here. haha.

  18. Hunt, fish, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, golf, hiking, kayaking, software programming.

  19. Reading, writing, cooking, playing video games, going for walks and listening to podcasts.

  20. Old guy stuff. Play golf… ride my Harley… build things in my shop… yell at the neighborhood kids.

  21. After going to the gun range and exercising our Second Amendment rights, we mosey on over to the all you can eat buffet to put on the feed bag. After letting out our 48″ belts a notch or two, we then head on home to watch Fox News to see what the godless woke libs are up to. We then go to bed early so we can get to church early and praise da lawd the next morning.

  22. I garden, read and occasionally go out for drinks. I had my fun in my early 20s when I was a dancer. I’m fucking so boring now, and still catching up on sleep.

  23. Skateboarding, playing my guitar, looking at old cars from the ‘70s on Facebook Marketplace I’d want to buy for work, smoking or vaping weed with friends or good music playing

  24. Read, knit, sometimes take a trip where I can go hiking or try new beer and food. Currently mildly addicted to playing The Tears of the Kingdom. I’m also working on a new ren fair outfit. Planning to make a costume with articulated wings this time. Also chest armor with a pocket for an ice pack because I live in Texas and I’m expecting this heavy outfit to need some form of “I don’t want to die in the heat” protections.

  25. I never understand people who don’t have hobbies but I’ve always had more than I really have time to to.

I like to work on open source software projects, hunt, fish, camp, competitive shooting, fix and restore things, video games, board games, train my dog to do silly fun tricks, paintball (though it’s been since pre COVID) and fly drones.

Honestly I’m probably leaving a few out. I dunno why but I have so many Interests and not enough time.

  26. Midwesterner here, today my friends and I are getting together for a hot sauce challenge!

  27. Skydive, snowboard, scuba dive, ride motorcycles, kite surf. Depends on the season and where I’m at

  28. Quilting, getting coffee, working on audio projects/music, talk on the phone with my parents, thrift shopping, etc. I like making projects and stuff

  29. These days I mostly chauffeur my kids around to things they do for fun.

Which is a lot of fun too actually.

My wife and I both like sports though. A lot of our down time involves watching the Mets, Islanders, and Cowboys. I have season tickets to all three but don’t go nearly as much as we did before kids. We have a close group of family and friends. It helps that my siblings and friends pretty much all have kids the same age as our kids so a lot of our hangouts are just us hanging out watching them hangout. When I do get time away from the wife and kids, I golf and play ice hockey.

  30. Hiking, board games, The Sims, going to museums, day trips, exploring local places, just hanging out with my wife.

  31. Birdwatching (and I’m under 30) 🐦🤓

Also video games, hiking, trivia nights, Meetup groups.

  32. In the past two days I’ve:
    Gone shooting with my Dad

Went out to dinner with my wife and daughters

Had some nice alone time with my wife

    Breakfast with family

Went bike riding with my wife and kids

Goofed around in our backyard and garden with the family

    Went shopping

    Had a cookout

And now we’re cleaning up after all of it. Funny thing is, I’ll probably connect more with my wife while we’re doing chores together than we did during all the other things.
