For some back story, I do deliveries to some stores and well there is one store in particular that treats me like if I am trash. At first the assistant manager was just a regular cashier and she was always so lovely and would tell me about her life. But one fine day she was gone for a month getting a body alteration which to be honest did no change if anything she looks worse. However after that month of her being out when she came back she was switched to assistant manager not because she deserved it no but because the one who had that spot quit (the pay is not good there). But as soon as she got that position she started being cold to me and would have a (smelling crap) face when I would show up. She makes it so hard on me and other venders when we go drop off our items. She is always complaining or moving our things around which I have heard from many customers that they simply don’t like the changes in the store and prefer to go to the other stores. I’ve tried my best to get on her good side again because to be honest I have never ever treated her bad or done something bad to her ever. But the finally straw that broke the camel’s back was when I arrived to deliver my product and asked if she has a pen I may borrow she ignored me and went to her office did her thing while I waited 15-20 minutes and then she came out from behind me and threw the pen at the side of my face and left without signing me in. The other person who was with me making these deliveries was in utter shock and then understood finally what I had been trying to tell my other co workers of how I was being treated only in that store. I just don’t understand why she feels this way about me when I am such nice person to everyone never once been mean to her. I need some perspective.

Most managers are promoted above their grade. Nobody else wants the positions.
