What is your state’s favorite ice cream flavor?

  1. The flavor matters not. The brand, however, cannot be anything other than Blue Bell or MAYBE HEB.

  2. A brief Google search gave 3 answers. Vanilla, Mint Chocolate chip, Green Tea. No idea which it is but there you go.

I call bullshit on green tea, it’s just too weird and I very rarely see it at icecream places.

I personally like Strawberry or peach. I’ve also got a soft spot for soft serve.

  3. Chocolate chip?…I’ll take it

Cookie dough is the superior ice cream flavor though

    Hands Down no arguments

  4. When I looked it up it said vanilla or mint chocolate chip depending on source.

I would have guessed mint chocolate chip personally

  5. Not sure if it’s the favorite, but huckleberry ice cream is a Northwest classic

  6. Gross the Instacart article says Green Tea is the favorite up here. Blech.

And the other article says it’s aquataq which is a traditional Alaska Native food actually and not ice cream at all. I imagine they came up with that due to the percentage of AK Native people in the state as a population group.

  7. As a state, we haven’t really discussed it.

    Mine is coconut chocolate chip.

  8. Rocky Road apparently

Yeah fuck that give me either strawberry shortcake or Mint & Oreo cookies. (Mint chocolate chip just rips apart your mouth, Mint & Oreos doesn’t.)

  9. I’d believe that second article that says Blue Moon for Wisconsin. You can’t get it here in Arizona. Dammit.

  10. Triple chocolate diabeetus.

But according to a couple sites I just looked at we’re one of only three states where cookie dough is the most popular.

    But also diabeetus.

  11. Doesn’t matter the flavor as long as it’s custard ice cream. There’s no other ice cream as good as that.

  12. Blue Bell or Mayfield for brand.

Grapico is a local soda which makes a spectacular homemade Ice cream. Also Buttered Pecan seems to be a local favorite both homemade and store bought.
