When traveling, what’s the perfect airport attire?

  1. Leggings, a comfortable shirt + a sweater or sweatshirt that’s easy to take off. Slip on shoes with socks. I usually wear a hat too.

  2. I don’t fly, but if I’m going on a long train ride (5+ hour) I like wearing either ultra baggy stretchy jeans, a T-shirt and sneakers, or a long flowy skirt, comfy top and sneakers.

  3. Light jacket, t-shirt, comfy joggers, bumbag for easy access to passport and boarding pass, shoes that can be slipped on and off easily, extra scarf if it’s cold.

  4. Stretchy jeans, sneakers and a couple layers of clothes so you can adjust to temperature, tanktop, shirt, hoodie.

  5. Soft stretchy leggings, tee shirt, hoodie for layering, and slide on shoes for security.

  6. DO NOT wear anything with sequins or metallic thread. I wore a tunic sweater and leggings once and didn’t think about the metallic threads in the sweater. I lit up like a Christmas tree in the body scanner and earned myself a full-body pat down from TSA.

With that said, dress for comfort: loose or stretchy fabrics, comfortable walking shoes, and layers.

  7. Comfy pants that don’t need a belt and shoes that are easy to get on and off for going through security. Then t-shirt and a zip-up hoodie so it’s easy to be warm or cool enough.

But also making sure you check the weather of wherever you’re landing! Sometimes you need to wear shorts under sweatpants if you’re going from like NYC to Houston.

  8. A TSA agent once told me if you wear super short jean shorts that have a zipper in the airport it sets the machine off and you’ll be subject to getting your pubic area pat down. This was while she was patting me down. Also wearing long shirts.

I personally wear breathable jogger sweatpants a short sleeve tshirt with an easily removed jacket. I definitely wear socks even with sandals cause I’m not going to touch my bare feet on the ground of a dirty airport walking through security, plus wearing socks makes me feel less like I’m at an airport traveling far distances and more like I’m just scooting to the next spot which helps me with managing anxiety.

I prefer sandals with socks because they’re the easiest to get off and on but also will wear slip on tennis shoes

  9. I usually wear a t-shirt, compression workout pants, and sneakers. Comfy and easy to move around in.

  10. For me it’s jeggings, toms or slip on vans, a tee shirt (sleeve length depends on the weather) and a zip up hoodie.

It’s comfortable, reasonably decent looking, and easy enough to get in and out of in the security line.

  11. Not leggings. God forbid you have to evacuate a burning anything in leggings. They will melt to your legs.

I wear comfy jeans, layers and slip on shoes.

  12. Leggings or sweat pants, T-shirt and hoodie. Easy to remove shoes. With my backpack carry on.

Comfy and I normally get cold.

  13. My lulu align leggings and some sort of short pullover, preferably with a thin shirt under it in case I need to take the pullover off. My worn out white Nike sneakers and my backpack with my iPad, snacks, meds, etc.

  14. Comfy shirt + hoodie, leggings, ankle crew socks and gym shoes. I don’t want any part of my actual body or skin touching the seats or floor of a plane. They’re soooo nasty and dirty lol

  15. Joggers, a sweatshirt, and bring a blanket or 3 other sweatshirts.

    Airplanes be cold af

  16. Nothing tight but nothing to lose. Personally depending on the weather on like jogger shorts and a tshirt with a light hoodie and sneakers. Never ever forget the socks because who wants to walk bare footed on that gross floor lol when flying or traveling I can get anxious, tight things(even leggings) can make me spiral lol

  17. I usually wear athletic wear.. work out leggings with a cell phone pocket, sports bra, tank top, and hoodie… And comfy tennis shoes. I can sleep in this and I can walk around easily in the airport and at my destination.

  18. Modest cozy loungewear or workout clothes, with layers. Easily removable shoes. SOCKS. You don’t wanna be barefoot on those floors.

  19. My go to is yoga pants with deep pockets, comfy slip on ankle boots, sports bra, tank top, and comfy oversized cardigan with pockets. No metal and can take the sweater off or put it on if I get hot or cold.

  20. A modal nightgown ([this is my favorite one](https://amzn.to/3J30qlu)) layered over leggings, with a cashmere cardigan and some boots. Comfy and suitable for a range of temperatures, since planes are usually cold.

  21. Leggings and a loose tshirt. Pack a sweater or light jacket because airplanes get cold!

  22. Depends on the weather for me.

I usually do a sports bra, oversized zip up hoodie, high-waisted leggings and sneakers. If it’s cold I will add another layer to that, like a t-shirt.

My other go to is a soft cozy cardigan, a cotton slip dress and platform Chelsea boots. This is all super comfy for me but also a little more stylish then my hoodie and leggings.

  23. Comfy jeans (ie a bit baggy rather than tight), T shirt, shoes that are easy to get on and off, and a pullover hoodie. If it’s a particularly long flight or overnight, swap the jeans for tracksuit bottoms.

  24. I wear jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie. I’ll get cold, and I like having the jeans as another layer of defense against the gross airport lol

  25. Two corn chips and dental floss. Wait is this a Florida air port or other?
