I am looking to be Santa Claus for our annual christmas pictures for the next 10-20 years for my newborn, future kids, and nieces and nephews if my siblings want. I am not a big fan of having her sit on a stranger’s lap as i was unconfortable doing it growing up. (no offense to the mall Santa) I want to make sure the suit is high quality, even if that goes above budget and its a piece by piece suit build. Reddit wouldn’t let me post this in askreddit, so I figured I’d post here as I couldn’t be the only man that has thought of this.

Your best bet is going to be looking on cosplay sites. They will probably have a replica of a Santa costume for a pretty cost-effective price.

That’s just one example. It was the first one to pop up, but as you can see they aren’t all generic looking like many of the ones you’re going to get from common retailers
If you have a local theater, sometimes they rent out costumes.
