Anyone else uk based and read the metro? They do a section called “how i do it” which is a diary in the week of someones sex life, and it got me thinking how unrealistic it all sounds, everyone on there is having threesomes and open relationships and shagging five times a week, anyone care to share a real life experience or how often you have sex in an average week ?

Well, obviously you are reading into this too much.
I’m 42, I’d say, growing up, I was painfully shy, worked on it, moved away from home, had a few girlfriends after that, had slow periods, at one point I was single for like 7 years, at other points I was pretty lucky living the single life. By now I’ve had threesomes, I’ve frequented kink nights at clubs, I’ve been married and divorced, I’ve done everything and had done on me sexually everything I could think of that seemed fun at the time. I’ve had sex with probably 25-30 people, But in my mind, this whole time I’m still that shy guy from school and day to day seems like I have no game at all.
It’s all about perspective.
Before my husband was required to be out of town regularly for work we would have sex 3-5x/week. Now we have sex nearly every day he’s home (he’s gone more than home). We’ve had wild sex: threesomes, couple swaps, sex clubs, explored kinks together and with others. It never gets old because we’re always keeping it fresh. We are very comfortable and sexually open together. 30F/31M btw.
Edit: I’ve also been married and divorced (he was a terrible lover), explored some on my own, and then met my husband who I’ve done the vast majority of my exploring with.
