What decade do you think had the best-looking cars?

2. 1960s.

   Except for Japan since they peaked in the 80s, design-wise.

3. Late 80’s / Early 90’s looked sick but we’re also abject pieces of shit lmao

4. I like newer cars. Design language is just better.

   Early Era cars were still experimenting with shapes.

5. Early 70s MOPAR.

6. I don’t know. But the C1 Corvette (50s?) might be the sexiest American car ever designed.

7. For me the 90s. I love the european and japanese cars of that era.

8. 1960s

9. Every year the car designs are supposed to keep up with trends and popular tastes. That said, there are styles that last decades.

10. 1960’s. Incredible variety.

11. Late 90ies – late 2000s. But that’s when I was a kid/ teen, so that’s probably why I like it.

12. The 60s were probably the most interesting decade.

    It had everything: Quirky cars, futuristic cars, different engines (4-stroke, 2-stroke, wankel), etc.

    Most important: you could recognize the brand and model by the shape of the car

13. 90s…first I’m biased as I grew up in the 90s…but

    Japanese sports cars of the 90s…rx7, supra, nsx, skyline, 300zx, 240sx/Silvia/s13/s14, 3000gt/gto…to name a few

    Euro cars were amazing as well. Bmw e36, e38, and e39. And their exotics, ferrari f50, 355, McLaren f1, Lamborghini Diablo.

    About the only manufactures that sucked for styling in the 90s were American cars but even they had some great styled cars with the c5 corvette (just don’t look at the interior) and the dodge viper.

    Even some of the boring cars from the 90s look great when you look back at them in 2023. The original LS400 was never considered a looker but they are sought after now. And compared to how overstyled every car is now it’s elegant and beautiful (and the most reliable car you can own).

14. It’s a split decade. 1965-1975 had the best looking cars, in my opinion.

15. ’80s cars for sure. The pick-ups had that classic look too.

16. Early 2000s (and late, late 90s), Volvo P2 do I have to say more?

    __OKAY__ Saab OG 9-5, OG 9-3, BMW E46, E39, Mercedes E-Class W211, Volkswagen Golf 4 and 5 and more.

17. 1950’s overall…it was just before the really boring cars like Dodge Dart and Ford Falcon started to lower people’s expectations of style and fun. If you had asked for the best HALF decade I would say 1967 to 1971 because even the long land yachts still had some pizazz.

18. 1960s – the Muscle Cars of the late 60s are still classic today

19. as far as look goes, i’m a big fan of of 1920s era cars. but i wouldn’t want one in the modern era.

22. Late 90s to early 00s

23. For my taste you can’t beat the GM B bodies from early-to-mid 70’s. Even a standard family car was a gorgeous land yacht. Impractical, unsafe, but still pretty damned beautiful.

25. Probably the Bill Mitchell tenure at GM.
