Recently I started getting waxed every month or so to just manage my hair, especially in the summer. I also get my butt waxed and most people that know this say it’s a little over the top. Is a waxed butt necessary? Or am I best to just shave it?

  1. It is your butt, you can do what you want with it, whatever makes you feel comfortable, there are no wrong or right answers here.

  2. I prefer getting my butt waxed (body sugared actually) rather than my vulva. Doesn’t hurt as bad and the hair is more of an issue for analingus than cunnilingus. Plus shaving the butt is awful.

    Also I heard that if you don’t shave/wax your butthole but you do for your vulva it’s a mullet, and that never left my conscience so I make sure to not have a mullet down there lol.

  5. I personally use Nair cream that melts the hair away every few weeks. I know you probably shouldn’t use it on those parts but I haven’t had any irritation from it.

  6. If you’re getting waxed anyway and you want to remove that hair it makes sense to get that waxed, too.
