Your question is too generic, and lacking any context.
Short story. Schools in the UK are generally no different to schools in most other places. There are bad schools, good schools, great schools. The process is the same anywhere in the world.
Long story.
There’s a big difference between going to school in an area such as Woodford where there are 11+ requirements and in say Peckham where they have less stringent requirements.
Same can be said between going to school in Northern Ireland (which is part of the UK), and Norwich.
You’re going to need to specify exactly at what age, and part of the country, but the story will roughly be the same no matter where you go.
This is hard to say! Bullying happens everywhere and isn’t necessarily based on class either! Im from the North of England (Manchester) and I went to a public catholic school which had a bad reputation. However in the same town 15 minutes up the road there was another school that had a good reputation! The schools in the UK you can actually have a tour and you will know just from the look of it whether you like it or not!
In the UK:
Public school = Eton, Harrow (fee-paying attended by ruling class)
Private school = Fee paying by parents brings profit to the private owners of the school
State, Comprehensive = Government funded
They’re very educational.
