I went to an event where we all got to stay for a week. Eventually I met this person who was just amazing. She was nice, funny, attractive, and we had a ton in common. We talked for a little bit but I never ended up getting her number. I live in Arkansas while she lives in Colorado. On the last day I wanted to get her number, but was unable to. We had a lot going on that day. She also has no plans to return to the event. After I left, I felt completely horrible. Now I don’t even know what to do. How can I get over this?

The best part about this situation is that you’ve only known each other for a week. The best thing to do is not romanticize your conversations and interactions and get back into the grove of your life back at home. Spend more time on yourself and friendships and get into the dating scene when you are ready.
