Threesome or third partner?
My wife and I have been pretty open ever since we’ve got together. I have always known she was bi sexual and been in a couple serious relationships with women in the past. We’ve talked about threesomes before or adding a girlfriend to our relationship but nothing really serious came out of it. Lately however it’s been a pretty hot subject as we feel it would spice up both our lives. We’re leaning more towards a girlfriend for multiple reasons one being I don’t always want to have sex when she does and vice versa. Is anyone here in a relationship as such? Has anyone tried it? What were the results?

Any idea that includes an “extra” in a marriage whatever it may be 3 some, swapping, swinging , etc requires a lot of open communication as well as boundaries and rules. It requires maturity and assurance that jealousy has not part in this.
There should also be a “out” clause because talking about something and actually doing it are very different. Maybe you are glamorizing the situation and reality is different.
Think long and hard and then think again before you take this step.
Once you do, it’s hard to go back.
