7 months ago, 35k paid cash
Why?
I bought a 2019 Rav 4 about a year ago. It was 33,500 and im at about 28000 left.
The car was $18k, $10k down, paid off the rest in 16 months with a 36 month loan. Had to sacrifice a bit to pay it off that fast, but it was worth it. Funny thing is, I bought it just before Biden took office. The same car is now $25k to buy.
Sold my old (paid off) car for $30k during 2021-22 used car craziness, bought a new car for $26k, and then took a vacation.
I always pay cash.
2020, bought a small city car. ~$15k, paid 20% up front, and paid of the rest in the following 10 months.
Why?
It was $2500 and I paid cash
I’ve bought 2 cars in the last 3 years.
Right after the pandemic started I bought a 1990 Nissan 300zx. I payed $8k CAD for it and bought it outright.
In early 2022 my partner and I bought a 2021 Hyundai Elantea Hybrid. We bought it outright for $27k CAD.
05 – 9K
~30k , Paying off with monthly payments over 5 years. Put 2k down.
We bough a rav4 for my wife about 3 years ago. $6,000 cash. We’ve paid cash for all of our cars though. My wife’s rav4 is the most expensive car we’ve ever bought.
2020, Car was 31k, put 20k down. Have just under 3k left. 0.9% interest.
Oh yeah, not happy… 20 k on the clock when I got it. 32k on it now.
Just had clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty, I think there is also a problem with the driveshaft although the garage says there is not. I’m waiting for a buddy to put it on a lift so I can see 4 myself.
Bought used BMW e46 M3 for £14k, paid in full. Car is low mileage, coupe, no mods and is sought after for its colour. I see the same spec selling for around £30k now, I bought it 5 years ago.
A bit over $14,000. I paid cash.
I’ve bought my car outright because I got an insurance payout since someone put the engine of my previous car in my lap
Y’all pay vehicles off? Lol I’m trading that bitch in in less than 2 years 😂
2019 Subaru WRX STI bought it for 37k almost two years ago. Owe roughly 28 on it.
35.000 dollars, fully saved and paid off.
I dont like loans. Traditional mentality…
Bought 2 in the past 3 years; a Grand Cherokee L that was $58000 (wife wanted something with 3 rows) and a Wrangler for $62000 (had a lease up and made $15k from buying my car out then selling it independently) that I bought with part of my starting bonus with my new job. Both cars are fully paid off, and actually funded our vacation this summer
In April 2020 bought a 2014 F-150 for about $23k. Paid it off in October 2021.
I think my is300h was £15k and the silly V8 swapped 1st gen IS I bought was £13.5k. paid for both in cash.
So when I bought my car in early 2021 I took out a 4 year loan on it Car cost 10k I put down half. I’ll be done in september with payments.
£2,500.
Bought it cash. A car isn’t ever worth getting into debt over.

58k and I paid cash. No payments
Last year. 2017 Santa Fe. 22k. Owe 17k
Bought a car in 2022, used.
Owe nothing on it since I bought in cash.
It’s the perfect car for me.
No repairs so far, I do all the service/maintenance on time.
A reliable vehicle that has allowed me to go on car camping trips, surfing trips, road trips as far as Colorado and Washington.
Never once broke down or even have a check engine light come on.
Two year old Suburu a couple years ago. I did a wire transfer for the full amount. I haven’t owed money on a car since the 90s.
$74k. About $35k left on it.
Ok, its over 3 years now, but it was 13k and payed it off in less than a year. Took a loan for 3 years, but it saved me 500$ in intrests by paying it off in 1
