Hi everyone.

I recently got married to my husband and I really feel he beats himself up for mistakes he makes. I truly do love him and I know he loves me, but sometimes when he beats himself up about something, it makes me feel negative as well. I try to help and comfort him and sometimes it works, but sometimes I just can’t get to him. And I know this isn’t about me but It impacts me as well. I hate to see him be like this.

How can I help him more? And how can I turn that negativity into positives?

Please help me. Thank you.

  1. Get him a therapist. It’s important to be there for your partner but you will NOT be able to singlehandedly change these deep rooted things for them and it WILL drain on you eventually if you’re dealing with negativity all the time.

    He needs another outlet, like a therapist.
