I replied to an OLD prompt talking about “cute coffee shops in the city” by saying I had recently gone to a new one that opened up, and asked if they’d been yet?
The woman (~25, fwiw) responded quickly saying something to the effect of “nope, I haven’t been there yet but it looks nice”.
So I replied asking “totally! so what are some of your other favourite coffee spots then” at which point I never heard from them again.
What gives? Surely my second message was a natural and low stakes profession of that conversation? Surely saying “let me take you there on a date” as my second message would’ve been a tad forward. Thoughts on where I went wrong?

She’s getting a ton of more interesting messages from people she’s been talking with for awhile.
Also, as a woman, I’m not telling a guy on the second message my favorite coffee shops at risk of being stalked at them if things go bad.
