Whenever I go out and socialize with people, I always make sure to have a script beforehand. Because of that, I constantly fail to be more adaptive since I tend to stick strictly to the script in hopes of avoiding saying something rude since people think I’m somehow intimidating and blunt, tho I just really have nothing else to say or ask to broaden the discussion.

So how do you actually force yourself to have endless topics and never run out of things to say?

  1. My man usually just talk whatever is around him. For example he saw a flower, he will say “wow that flower is beautiful, what flower do you like?” Or he just gives someone a compliment. For example he is in someone’s car “wow this car is so good, what is this car?”

  2. Never do scripts again, its a recipe for disaster. Us humans can think of 1000s of different answers for everything. No point of programming a conversation since nothing ever goes your way. To make people think your friendlier, incorporate humour, practise open body language make eye contact and smile. Ask good questions and give your own input.
