If your legal residence is still in the US, contact the DMV in your state of residence.
Every state has their own rules. You’ll need to look it up at the state level. Requirements should be listed online.
It depends on your home state. Some do not allow non-residents to renew or obtain drivers licenses.
Look at your expired license. Note what state issued it. Go to Google.com. Type in ‘How do I renew <state> license?’
Whichever state you have your drivers license with, go on their website and look up driver license renewal. Fill out the online form, pay the fee, and have it sent to your address or to an address of a family member in the US. Then they can send it to you if the state can’t send it abroad for whatever reason.
I don’t know but here’s what I do know.. renewing a driver’s license *before* it expires is orders of magnitudes easier than waiting until after it expires. (At least in NY.. maybe it’s not a big deal elsewhere)
The renewal process is different in each state.
Are you a resident of any US state? An example would be a military member or spouse physically living abroad during deployment while officially claiming residency in a particular state in the US for tax purposes and such. If that’s the situation then you simply need to contact the DMV in your home state for information.
If you are not a US resident at all then you’re likely not eligible for a license. Can’t you obtain a license in the country in which you live?
Check with the state that issued it, but you may not be able to renew an expired license online without going to a DMV office.
What state issued the license? They’ll have to be the one to renew it.
That’s a state-specific question… contact the DMV for the state that issued it.
Send renewal fee plus a eye test from your doctor, that’s what I do and I live in America
It depends on which state issued it.
