I acknowledge that I have legitimate reasons for being upset and that it’s okay to feel sad when others mistreat me. I let myself feel the feelings so I can let them go.
If I can, I go to bed or take a nap. It’s like it resets my brain.
Chocolate. All my pity parties relate to low energy/illness and bittersweet chocolate fixes them. Yes, I know, not the politically correct answer.
Watch a movie if possible.
