Canadians count for half points, just as a handicap to level the playing field.

Edit: Sorry, for Non-Americans reading this, favourite.

  1. Ricky Rubio, former point guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Watching him made me fall in love with basketball 11 years ago and I still love it to this day.

  2. Probably John Locke.

For someone alive, probably Elton John. He’s made a lot of good music.

  3. Oh damn, lots of good options but I’d probably go James Acaster who is an English comedian of off the top of my head.

  4. My grandmother. Turns 95 this year and still lives in a 4th floor walk up apartment and drives a manual.

  5. Alex Trebek. I loved him so much I tried to legally change my middle name to Alextrebek when I was 21. I still cry when I think about him being gone. Wild considering I didn’t actually know him. I feel like I did, though.

  6. If I’m being real, a friend I made here on Reddit. It started with her basically saying “you seem cool. Let’s be friends.” And it’s been going strong since then even thigh we’re continents apart. I am literally talking to her right now.

If I’m being fake, Wolverine for the simple fact that in “Origins: Wolverine”, Striker (I think that’s who it was) said “Do this serve for your country”, and Wolverine and I said at the same time “I’m/He’s Canadian.”

  7. My Grandma. Technically step-grandma, but whatever. She’s been Grandma my whole life and she is an all-around wonderful person and the epitome of what a lifetime of Canadian values can do for a person.

  8. Possibly Gordon Ramsay being that I have seen so many of his shows (ie: Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, Restaurant Nightmares, Hotel Hell, MasterChef Junior, 24 Hours To Hell And Back.)

  9. Sir Christopher Lee WWII veteran, actor, metal vocalist, could of married into royalty and turned it down, just an overall badass classy dude. Oh and a descendant of Emperor Charlamagne. Just overall a cool guy with a fascinating life.
