Why does a girl I talk to extend her words?

2. hahaha I guess it’s just the way she types, for no particular reason.

   For example, when I’m texting I usually highlight the words when I’m trying to emphasize an idea or a feeling. It happens all the time.

   Like you add it so the text seems more lighthearted, fun, positive etc even if you aren’t actually laughing
