What do you do when someone doesn’t read your texts?

Like I’ll be telling someone I wanna talk in-person since I don’t like texting or I’ll say I’m busy but they’ll keep saying hi to me.

Do I ghost them? Do I keep telling them I wanna talk in-person? Do I ask them if they’re actually reading all my texts?

(I’m experiencing this thing a lot where people will pick what texts to read or just ignore what I said but act like they read it. This is why I hate texting. Of course they can ignore me in-person but I feel like it’s different since it’s confrontational)
