He’s 31 I’m 29f
I think the critical thing here is one, he’s liked me a lot in the past and showed it often in my Instagram DMs. Super supportive messages, even on the more personal things like work and recovery.
More critically, he is leaving in a few weeks to bike across continents for about a year. Bad timing on my part. Our messages are super positive but it shows he’s online, often, but never reads my messages and usually takes over a day to respond.
Not sure what it may mean, if anything, and I’m scared to ask.
Could it be a bit of distance because he doesn’t want to attach when he’s about to leave for so long? I’d settle for sending post cards back and forth but.. yeah.
Just wanted to hear thoughts or commiserate
