Is there a magic formula for dealing with constant disappointment with other people? Or do people put up a polite social façade to pretend to like someone and then stab the person in the back when you least expect it? Because if people continue to act towards each other in such a cruel and self-interested way, there will be nothing but apathy left in the world. Any thoughts?

  1. Keep people “at a distance” until you learn their intentions. I say that, but still get fooled and used by social climbers.

  2. Society has become nothing more than vain opportunistic self molesting instant gratification.

If people can’t get what they want right when they want it exactly how they want it right now they lose their fucking minds and god damn anyone who gets in their way.

Look. I work in security. And when people get asked for ID that they know for a fact they need to show and need to have out anyway when they check in they get pissed when it’s their fault for not just having it out.

When they failed to read the entrance sign, failed to see the five painted arrows and failed to read the two giant fuck off exit signs and get told they’re going the wrong way they’ll get pissed off.

Funny thing is, it’s because they’re so wrapped up in everyone else’s life on social media with their fucking faces glued to a phone screen that they’ve lost all ability to maintain basic instinctual survival skills necessary for the function of living.

They amount of times I’ve seen someone get hit by a car and that car rear ended because they walked out of the building glued to their screen and into traffic where the driver had his or her fuckin face glued to a screen and the one behind them also was glued to a screen is phenomenal.

I’m surprised we can even still function as a society.
