3. I get Monday and Tuesday off paid for the holiday and put a vacation day in for Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday are my days off that week. So basically I leave Friday and don’t have to go back till the following Saturday, which is pretty sweet.

    The office is closed, but salaried workers are expected to work from home. But so many people are taking PTO that it’s not like it’s going to be a particularly strenuous day

21. Yes. The company I work for is closing all US based offices on Monday and Tuesday. I think the Canadian offices are also closed on Monday for Canada Day. I’m also taking this Friday off since we have unlimited paid time off anyway.

33. I wouldn’t get July 4th off even if I was scheduled for it, but I would get holiday pay which is 1.5x my rate. Ambulances don’t get holidays off
