In Germany, France and UK there’s a new wave of rappers that rap on beats that are heavily influenced by:
\- Drum and Bass
\- 2Step (e.g. UK Garage etc)
\- Jersey Club
\- 4 to the floor
\- ?
(I realize that genre naming can be a bit complicated and subjective and it also isnt’t my biggest strengt exactly, so I apologize if my use of genre labels seems off.)

**Is this also a thing in your country and could you maybe name a few rap-artists (please no DJs etc), that produce music influenced by these genres?**
I could name a few examples from FR, GER and UK, but I don’t want this post to come off as self-promotion. I just want to discover some new music from different countries.

I’m not sure if this is relevant to the post but in the UK rapping over dance beats is very popular. It’s something I don’t really see from American rap.
Rap and dance music is the two most popular genres in the UK so might as well mix them.
Sorry, I’m not into rap music anymore (I listened to that around 2000) so it isn’t an answer to your question but there is a nice short on YouTube showing the evolution of Polish rap so you can hear what it sounds like.
